I purchased this December of 2009. I went from a 4 year old 15.6 inch screen HP to this Acer and I had my doubts, especially about performance and screen size but I felt I needed something a bit more portable for my college classes. Despite my concerns, I was not disappointed and extremely glad that I didn’t buy another 00 .

- Screen is vivid, bright and incredibly sharp so the size really was not an issue as I thought it would be.

      I bought this computer from Amazon two weeks ago, but since I'm a fan of Linux (Ubuntu to be precise) I was always in doubt for the purchase of a computer or not because of compatibility pm.
